A whole lot to learn, moving here from Florida.

Hello,

Glad to have found your group, however we have not found property yet here in TN.

Property hunt is hard. Realtors @ NE TN where we are renting now don't seem real motivated. Been doing Zillow searches.

Any info on places to look for hunting property with a creek would be hugely appreciated.

Welcome to our TFHA family. I would like to invite you all to join us at any of our events and share with us. We have plenty of good food and sometimes we get around to talking about trapping.๐Ÿ˜€

Now is a good time to start trapping them in your area. However, they will get better and better as the season goes on. They will be good all the way to the end of the season. Muskrats do not mistreat their fur like a lot of our critters do.

DISTRICT 1 & 2 MEETING

Looks like you all had a real good meeting there with fine weather. Looks like a good turnout. I wish Laura and I could have made it, but we were just about worn out with all the travel lately. Looks like plenty of good food also. Sure, hate that I missed that.

Global Zoonotic Disease Surveillance and Veterinary Interventions Driving the Global Brucellosis Market

The global Brucellosis Market, focused on the diagnosis and treatment of this highly contagious zoonotic disease caused by Brucella species, is driven by the persistent endemic nature of the infection in many developing regions and the critical need for global animal and human health surveillance. Brucellosis is transmitted to humans through contact with infected animals (primarily cattle, goats, and sheep) or by consuming unpasteurized dairy products, resulting in a systemic illness often characterized by recurrent fevers and chronic complications affecting the joints and central nervous system. The primary market catalyst is the intensifying global efforts in zoonotic disease control through the "One Health" approach, which recognizes the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health. This is driving sustained governmental and non-governmental investment in animal vaccination programs and mandatory livestock testing, which are the most effective means of controllingโ€ฆ

F. C. F. ANNUAL T. F. H. A. CONVENTION 2025

Sure, did have a great time this year. We had a great turnout of members this year, the best I have seen in a long time. Plenty of good food, thanks to all the kitchen workers. I would like to thank all the folks that ran for one office or another, and congratulations to all of our winners. They have a big job ahead of them for the next two years and will need the support of the membership. I was very proud of the total number of members that voted. We truly had the members of the TFHA elect our new officers for the first time in a long time. I thank all of you that took the time to vote in this election. I was really impressed. I can't find my camera so I don't have any pictures to add, perhaps someone else took some and can addโ€ฆ

TFHA AT THE SOUTHEASTERN REGIONAL CONVENTION

Laura and I along with Don, Mary, and William Kiser spent the weekend at the convention in Glennville, West Virginia. Lots of good cool weather and the smell of wood smoke where some of the guys were cooking off traps. Trapping season can't be too far off!! Had a great time with lots of friendly folks and some good food. Caught up with some old friends and made some new ones. Battery dead on camera, so maybe Mary can add some pictures. Great demos were put on for the folks and lots of good supply dealers there for those that needed last minute supplies. Like to thank the West Virginia Trappers Association for putting on the show. They sure worked hard to help everyone.

TFHA in West Virginia

We had a great time representing the TFHA at the West Virginia Trappers Convention in Glenville. We had furs for the kids to pet, candy to eat and our photo booth available for lots of pictures. The location is great, and will be an awesome location to host the NTA Southeastern in a few weeks.

looks like y'all had a great time, and the TFHA was well represented. I think the pioneer picture would be a great tool at the NWTF Convention in February. GREAT JOB!!!!

REGION 1 & 2 MEET

Sorry I didn't get any pictures as I forgot and left my camera at home. (another senior moment). We surely did have a good time there at M. B. State Park. Thanks to Will & Beth Preuett and Josh & Alyssa Smith for doing our fund-raising lunch. Made some new friends as well as caught up with some old ones. And I must say some excellent tips on coyote and bobcat trapping thanks to Josh, Will, and Don. Probably some others too, but I can't recall now. We signed up some new members as well as renew some. Beautiful weather, and a big thank you to Director Will and wife Beth Preuett for hosting this event.
